Meeting Schedule
The next meeting of the Central Texas Camera Club will take place on Monday, March 21, 7 PM at the Cultural Activities Center in Temple. Lyle Kaye will give a presentation on black & white photography. The beginnings of photography were in monochrome; therefore, it should be a good experience for us to go back to the basics. We are indeed thankful to Lyle for making this program possible. Refreshments will be furnished by Percy & Anne Francis.

There were many great photographs in this competition. We offer our congratulations to the winners. We are very appreciative to everyone who participated.
Louise Reid has made the initial plans for a field trip on May 7, from 3 to 5 PM. Sue Steakley of Photographics Unlimited will direct the activities of this field trip. It will take place at Sue's homesite on the banks of the creek in Salado. Outdoor general photography, portraiture, and nature will be highlighted. This will involve photography by digital or film. Be sure to put this on your calendar as it is an event that should not be missed. We will be discussing this further at the next meeting of our club.
At our club meeting on April 18, we will have a competition of black & white photographs.
At this time at the Temple Mall, there is a display of photographs which were entered in the Bell County 4-H club photography contest. Over the past several years, some of our camera club members have participated in the 4-H photography program. As we are walking in the mall, viewing of these photographs will be well worth the spent time.
For year 2005, we are off to a good start. It is great that several club members have stepped forward to do the "foot work" that is necessary for our club to have its various programs.
Looking forward to being with you at the next meeting of our club.
